Personal Training at I.S.A
Personal training is a phenomenal option for beginners all the way to expert level calisthenics athletes. Our experienced coaching team can quite literally take you from ground zero to podium level capabilities -as is evidenced by multiple students in our community having debuted and returned to many competitions with podium placements. With that said, personal training always depends on many factors: adherence, time, lifestyle, budget, sleep hygiene, nutrition, injury history, work schedule, kid’s schedule, school schedule and the list goes on and on quite extensively. Our students range from 4 – 85 years old!
Our mission with personal training is to find the best formula that works for you, for the goals you want to achieve! So, it truly does depend on what your life and capabilities presently look like. If you want that first pull up, muscle up, push up, planche, handstand, handstand push up, pistol squat, regular squat, mobility work, the freedom to do cool shit anywhere, shredded calisthenics physique, weight loss with a boat load of strength gains, strange strength that lies way outside the vast capabilities of your cohort and peers…. Personal training might be for you!
Whether you’re a beginner looking to start calisthenics or an advanced athlete looking to compete and level up, we have a wide range of coaches with a variety of backgrounds to help assist you with your specific goal. Just to confirm, you can truly be a beginner with no gym or workout experience – like none whatsoever! Can’t hang from the bar? No problem. No idea how to pick up a dumbbell or approach a push up? No worries! Having worked out before will certainly assist your progress, but it is by no means necessary. “Don’t worry, I’ll get fit and then come see you for calisthenics.” We hear this often and it’s strange, understandable, but strange. “Let me just build the car and then I’ll learn how to drive” – but do you know how to build the car? Just come workout so we can help the entirety of the process- and in the long run, save you time and frustration! No experience required. We require ALL new personal training students to undergo assessment with Mike or their respective coach to help solidify the game plan and make sure we are a good fit together. Not sure who to book with? Give us a call. Not sure who would be the best fit? No worries, come in for your assessment and Mike can help figure out the best coach for you.

Personal training is more expensive than classes and it is a mega investment in your time as well as your wallet! We totally understand this and want to arm you with the best knowledge possible to eventually become self sufficient. Although the majority of our students are very passionate about training, loyal to their own personal journey, and dedicated to furthering their growth in the ISA community… It truly is the biggest compliment we can receive if a student no longer needs our help. With that said, our coaches keep a high level of fitness and calisthenics expertise to always provide guidance wherever you want to take your journey.
At ISA, we believe in an individual approach to your goals, an approach that reflects what is possible for your life and circumstances, and of course an approach that will get you there safely and effectively. Calisthenics is not easy and it is our mission to help expediate your journey but also to lay the foundation and road map, so you can always use and get back to it seamlessly when life throws you some curve balls.
“Cool speech bro, but what’s it cost and how often do I have to train?” Our prices start at $100 per session, and we have a X10 package option for $900. Just two options to keep it simple, NO mega commitments, no hidden fees or contracts, just raw training with our expert team. If you like it, you continue; if you don’t, its ok if we break up – albeit we’ll be sad. There is no mandatory amount of times per week to train, as mentioned above it DEPENDS on how your life is structured, but, we do have a mandatory minimum when training – X1 per week at least. Every other week or every third week is too infrequent to see progress or get your coach’s feedback. It’s extremely common for our students to train X1-2 per week and have their coaches program homework for them outside of lessons. Some students train PT once a week and also participate in our classes to supplement extra gains.
EVERYTHING depends. But, if you’ve read this far, give us a call or shoot us an email! We hope to see you soon.
